Best Exercises To Lose Belly Fat
In this article you will learn the different exercises that you can incorporate into your workout program. Many of these are the best at home exercises to lose belly fat. The first thing you must understand when trying to loose any fat on your body, including the fat on your stomach is that just doing ab exercises is not going to make you loose anything. You are only strengthening your muscles, such as your abs, and not loosing any fat. A better approach to loose fat is to incorporate a well-balanced workout routine, that covers your entire body, and it is also important to do a lot of aerobic exercises to lose belly fat. And I also should say to focus your diet according to your goals, which should be a no-brainer.
Aerobic Exercises Are The Best!
Many people, myself included, I think can agree that aerobic exercises are the best to help you lose fat and can make you feel like a different person after a couple of weeks of doing them. Aerobic can be simple exercises that can easily take twenty minutes to an hour to do, depending on how crazy you want to get. It is through these long exercises, what will help you lose fat because you are burning a lot more fat than you normally would when doing a short set exercise. But when comparing the two aerobic exercises are much more low intensity then strength training.
Many of these exercises are well known, such as jogging. This is the oldest and probably the most popular option and for good reasons. Running is easy to do and don’t need to buy any equipment or gym memberships to do. At first running sucks, I’ll admit it. But once you continue running and as you become better at it, running isn’t so bad. You may even enjoy it to some extent. Jogging will increase your stamina over time and better yet, help you lose belly fat.
One of the best cardio exercises to lose belly fat is bicycling. This also can be done with no equipment (Unless you don’t have a bike). With bicycling you are not only doing a cardiovascular exercise, but you are also strengthening your calves and your Quads. It is much easier to start with than running and you can cycle longer than you can run.
Yet anther exercise if you have access to a pool is swimming. I think a lot of people underestimate the benefits of swimming. When you swim you are using all of your muscle and also making your heart work for you, which is good for loosing your unwanted fat. The calories that you could potentially burn are phenomenal. Swim for twenty minutes for a couple weeks and I guarantee not only will you feel great, but also lose that pesky body fat.
There are only a few of the best aerobic exercises, but I also recommend, jumping rope, kickboxing, and cross-country ski
ing. You can decide which one will work best for you. You will also want to change you exercises every now and then to keep your muscles guess and to get them that shock factor.
Abdominal Exercises To Lose Belly Fat
To outline the best exercises to lose belly fat and love handles I will just give you what works for me when I exercise my abs. You can use my routine and you can even add or do less than I do. It’s totally up to you. But this is the routine that I use to get some definition in my abs.
- The first exercise is a barbell rollout. I simply put two weights on each side of my barbell, similar to an ab roller
. I start in a bent position, with my back straight and gently roll the bar out, extending my legs. I make sure that I am tensioning my abs more than any other muscle. I focus on tightening my ab muscles as much as I can to get good results. I do about three sets with as much reps as I can in each set.
- The second exercise that I do is the cross-body crunch. I also do three sets and do as much reps as my body lets me. It is one of the best ways to work the obliques. I highly recommend this if you can’t find a good oblique exercise. This exercise is like a crunch times two, because you’re working your abs a lot harder and in different areas of your abs.
- The final exercise I do work define my abs is the decline reverse crunch. This is more of an advanced exercise, which I suggest you try something else if you are not up to par with your ab workouts. With this exercise all you need is a bench. All you do is put your hands behind your head, grab the bench and lift you legs, tightening your lower abs. One of the best exercises I do and gives me serious results.
And that’s pretty much it as my ab workout right now. I generally change my routines every three months or so. Like I said you can try this routine for yourself, to more, or do less. Just keep in mind that if your abs aren’t used to intense exercise you should take it easy the fist couple of weeks. A lot of people make a mistake of working on their abs everyday right from the start.
